Restrengthen 2021: Faith & Fitness Conference
Time & Location
About the Event
I am so excited to be hosting my first ever Faith & Fitness Women's Event! To say that it has been a journey getting to this point would be an understatement. For years I had wanted to find a creative way to bring women together and create an interactive and immersive experience where women could be empowered, equipped, and encouraged in mind, body, and spirit. However, I went through such a difficult period in life where walking this out for myself seemed so impossible and exhausting that the dream seemed to die. I went from working full time in the fitness industry to being completely burnt out, wrestling through grief, heartbreak, depression, anxiety, and loneliness. I didn't have enough to even give to myself, much less anyone else. Then finally, healing and breakthrough came. All the pain I went through ended up producing something that not only helped change my life, but is changing others as well.
Recently, I wrote a book called "Festival in the Desert: Learning to Rejoice in the Difficult Seasons of Life" where I vulnerably share my personal, and elongated, season of pain, hardship, suffering, and loss, and the ways in which God met me, taught me, and healed me. It was through the writing itself that I experienced further healing with God's help and my heart was stirred yet again with a desire to help others walk out healing, wholeness, and freedom in every area of their lives by being built up in mind, body, and spirit. Woven together through the book is my story, biblical truth, and interactive prompts that help the reader draw closer to God and outwork their own hurts while journeying with me through mine.
The testimonies from readers sharing how the book has deeply impacted and touched their lives has literally left me in tears of gratitude and sparked a call to action to boldly come alongside others in their personal journey of healing and growth. Suddenly, the dream of creating these faith and fitness events was reawakend within me and I have begun to feel restrengthened by God to finally pour into others with threefold approach to health and wellness. That is where the theme for this first event was born. RESTRENGTHEN. So, with a little help from some of my girlfriends, for the first of what I hope to be many more events, I invite you to join me on the journey of becoming the best and strongest version of yourself. Together, we can learn to walk out healing, grow in strength (physically & spiritually), knowledge, and faith, and boldly step into all we have been created to be.
Ladies, join us for a time of biblical teaching & workouts! This online two hour event will include a Q & A, time for reflection and prayer, fun warm-up workout, an ending workout and cooldown, and bible teaching around the theme of "Restrengthening". I'll also share a little of my testimony and more about the book!
Now is the time to restrengthen those areas in your life where you have grown weary, lost motivation, or need a boost. It's time to create or even recreate healthy habits in the areas of mind, body, and spirit leading to the growth of the best version of yourself. It's time to set goals and be inspired to dream again. With a team of women passionate about helping you become the strongest version of yourself, you will learn tangible things to take into your daily life that will stretch you physically, mentally, and spiritually. Come sweat, pray, breathe, and learn with us!
February 13th, 2021 from 10am-12pm PST.
